After a tough overtime loss to the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday night, the Montreal Canadiens received some bad news this morning regarding their number one center Alex Galchenyuk.
Reportedly, Galchenyuk hurt his knee during the last game, and will not feature in tomorrow night’s matchup versus the Calgary Flames. He aggravated the same knee that kept him sidelined for close to six weeks prior to returning to the lineup last week:

For now, the belief is that it is simply a minor tweak, and that he will not be sidelined for an extended period of time.
Since his return from injury, the 22-year-old forward has scored twice and added two assists to his name for a total of four points in six games.
