The Carolina Hurricanes have quietly put together a four-game win streak and they’ll put it on the line tonight against the Philadelphia Flyers. Here’s the pre-game report.
The projected lineups are:
CAROLINA
Andrei Svechnikov - Sebastian Aho - Teuvo Teravainen Ryan Dzingel - Jordan Staal - Warren Foegele Nino Niederreiter - Lucas Wallmark - Martin Necas Brock McGinn - Eetu Luostarinen - Jordan Martinook Jaccob Slavin - Dougie Hamilton Joel Edmundson - Brett Pesce Jake Gardiner - Trevor van Riemsdyk Petr Mrazek James Reimer
PHILADELPHIA
Oskar Lindblom - Sean Couturier - Jakub Voracek Claude Giroux - Morgan Frost - Travis Konecny Joel Farabee - Kevin Hayes - Tyler Pitlick James van Riemsdyk - Michael Raffl - Andy Andreoff Ivan Provorov - Matt Niskanen Shayne Gostisbehere - Justin Braun Travis Sanheim - Philippe Myers Brian Elliott Carter Hart It looks like the lines are the same for Carolina and Haydn Fleury will be scratched in favour of Trevor van Riemsdyk. Petr Mrazek is expected to start for the Hurricanes, while Brian Elliott is expected to get the call for the Flyers.
Philadelphia has struggled on the road, winning just four of 11 away games so far this year. Contrast this with Carolina’s 7-3 home record and the Hurricanes are certainly the favourite tonight. The Flyers did win the only game of the season between the two teams thus far by a score of 4-1 earlier in the month. For more, follow @BenShelley_20 on Twitter.
