Final Score: New York Rangers 5 – Blue Jackets 4
Final Score: Blue Jackets 2 – Flyers 1
Game Summary
The Jackets had a tough weekend with a back to back against two strong Metro Division Rivals. Both games were tight and came down to the last few minutes.
The Jackets stormed out early against the Rangers with goals from Markus Nutivaara, Cam Atkinson and Scott Hartnell. Nutivaara scored his second of the season on an absolute bomb from the point.
Last night the Jackets lost 5-4 but it wasn't without a good start. Markus Nutivaara started the scoring early to make it 1-0. #CBJ pic.twitter.com/rTzjvAKdHc

Atkinson scored his 19th of the season, a power play goal from his typical spot. The set up on this play was fantastic with Nick Folingo throwing it from along the boards between his legs to Sam Gagner who one touched it over to Atkinson for the goal.
Cam Atkinson on the power play made it 2-0. Looked like it was going to be a standard Blue Jackets blow out that we all have seen this year. pic.twitter.com/qtljhkYJ6T

Gagner also assisted on the third goal, making this sick pass to Hartnell in front.
Scott Hartnell is still producing at a torrid pace and he teamed up with Gagner to make the game 3-1. Batted it out of mid-air too. #CBJ pic.twitter.com/LFs4J6xi9c

The Jackets scored once in the second to make it 4-1, before the Rangers answered with four unanswered goals to take the game 5-4. The dagger in the game scored my Michael Graber, came with just 16 seconds left, denying the Jackets any points.
A similar situation occurred in the Flyers game. Brayden Schenn also scored with 16 seconds remaining. His goal though just tied the game, before Nick Folingo won it in overtime with this beauty.
