Monday night pix with a brand new system!! (nhl plays)

Last night 1-2 -.64 Units YTD 87-76 +6.01 Units

Quiet card for this Monday night with just 6 games. It will be interesting to see how the Wild fare against Vegas on homeice going 7-3 in their last 10, while Vegas is red hot winning six in a row. Can the Sens do better on this west coast road trip than they did a few weeks ago? Can Vancouver build off two huge home wins over the Leafs with the Habs coming to town?

I am starting a new angle that you will see in Scenario #1. It’s a very small size, but it’s 3-0 this week and there are 4 more spots like this between now and March 18th. I will track it and see how its plays out here for all those that read the column.

Scenario #1 – Teams that are rested, either sitting at home or on the road while their opponent plays the night before. 3-0 the last 5 nights. Edmonton fits the system tonight.

Scenario #2 – Teams that are playing each other in back to back games, in which the home team loses the first game, the record of the home team in the second game is 46-28!

Scenario #3 – Teams playing back to back road games on consecutive nights tend to go under the total in the 2nd game. So far that trend is 16-19 when teams play on the road back to back nights.

Scenario #4 - One last angle I am tracking that is slightly profitable and similar to Scenario #1, is when any team loses the first game of a back to back against the same team, regardless if it’s on the road or at home, those teams are 65-50 in that situation.

Quick stat updates - First period totals going over were 4-4 last night and are 170-200 on the season. Road teams were 5-3 last night and are 179-184 on the season. Game totals going over the total were 3-3-2 last night and are 183-175-4 on the season.

Gamenotes for tonight –

Vegas/Minny – Vegas won the first two match ups head to head on homeice.

Sens/Oilers – Oilers sitting at home rested while Ottawa played in Calgary last night.

STL/SJ – Blues 6th straight road game, could be a nice spot for SJ here. STL has won 3 of 5 head to head this season, all games decided by one goal!

Arizona/Colorado – Avs won the first two meetings this season, but both teams have been very inconsistent this year.

Habs/Canucks – Habs have won 4 of 5 against the Canucks head to head this season and all 5 have gone over the total.

LA/Anaheim – Ducks snapped 9 game losing streak and won the only meeting between these 2 teams this year.

New system play – Edmonton – ML(-240)(1 Unit)

Other non-system plays for 1 Unit each –

Minny – ML(-103) SJ – ML(+130) Feel free to ask any questions in the blog and I always get back to everyone. I will have Twitter and Instagram going shortly. Good luck tonight!
