Game Day: Hawks vs Kings (blackhawks)

Make sure you take a post work nap and put on a pot of coffee; the Hawks are back at it on the West Coast against the LA Kings. This is the 2nd match up between these two teams as they faced off last Thursday and the Hawks pulled out a very lucky 2-1 overtime victory. The Kings will look to get a bit of revenge as they come in to this game riding a two game win streak, having just beaten Minnesota 1-0 on Tuesday and Florida 5-4 on Saturday.

Players to watch: Gabriel Vilardi 10 goals 5 assists 15 points Kevin Fiala 3 goals 11 assists 14 points Anze Kopitar 2 goals 11 assists 13 points

Projected Goalie Jonathan Quick 5-4-1 3.02 GAA .897 SV% 1 Shutout

As for the Hawks, as of posting time, there are no updates on projected line-ups. I would expect close to the same line-up as the past few games with minor changes. In goal I do expect Petr Mrazek to get the call, as he is officially off the IR from his groin injury.

These next few games will be fun as the team is taking part in their annual Dad trip so the guys will have a little extra motivation to put up a good effort and give their pops a show.

One other quick note. Seth Jones (Thumb) and Tyler Johnson (Ankle) were both on the ice yesterday with Coach Brian Keane before the teams practice, great to see them back out there and hopefully we will see them back in the line-up soon!

That’s it for now, remember puck drop is a late one tonight coming at us at 930pm central time.
