Minnesota Wild forward Kirill Kaprizov is apparently NOT sitting on a 10M plus 1 year deal with CSKA in Russia. Today the Russian team’s president announced that there aren’t any negotiations to date with Kaprizov.
I am told a the Wild have put forth a MAJOR offer for Kirill and it’s hard to imagine the Russian second year NHLer will turn down $9M plus per year.

The next two weeks are key for NHL teams and several unsigned players…some of which can still be impactful… We are getting to the point where we start top get Camp Invited for a bunch of these players, and the rumor chart, starting tomorrow, will reflect this as well.
There are also quite a few teams looking to move out salary to sign some of these players….that will involve trades of course and teams like Buffalo and Arizona have a ton of cap space to take on.
