Following up on a rumor circulating tonight that the NHL has made a decision not to send their players to the 2018 Olympics in South Korea. This is not unexpected, but the fact it was taking so long to get to a final decision had led to much speculation that a side-deal was indeed being worked on, and speculation that NBC was putting pressure on the NHL to find a way to send their players to the Olympics.
