I want to apologize for the lack of coverage I've had in the last two weeks. I've been very preoccupied with the birth if my new son, and the health of my wife.
My son was born May 1st, weighing 7.2 pounds, and stretching to 19 inches long. It was a great day for both my wife and I. But that was only the start.
My wife had to have an emergency c-section, three hours into labor, and the baby was turned sideways. While it looked as if everything was fine, she was bleeding internally for a week, and had a hematoma that covered the majority of her stomach.
Finally the pressure from the hematoma burst her c-section incision and we've been in the hospital since. She has had surgery and we are hopeful to be home soon.
Once everything gets settled back down, I will have articles back on here regularly, but as you all know, family comes first!
