Jimmy Vesey watch is in full effect with the 23-year-old winger eligible to sign wherever he pleases as early as tomorrow.
There has been a lot of talk about where Vesey will land and, with so many clubs interested, there has been more twists and turns in the Vesey saga than during a mid-day soap opera.
About a month ago the New Jersey Devils were first mentioned as a serious candidate to sign Vesey. The initial report came from CSNNE's Joe Haggerty. In Haggerty's latest update some of the potential landing spots changed but the Devils remained among them.
Since that time there have been mixed reports about whether Vesey signing with New Jersey is a realistic possibility.
Long-time NHL reporter Adrian Dater has heard that is not the case.
Early word I'm hearing is its coming down to Chicago or Toronto for Vesey. We'll see

Meanwhile Jimmy Murphy of ESPN New Hampshire reports the Devils are in fact a finalist for Vesey's services.
Per NHL source, #JimmyVesey zeroed in on #Blackhawks & #Devils. That may change, but that's the latest on #VeseyWatch @ESPNNH #StretchRun

With so many rumors flying around it's hard to gauge what is true and what is not. Thankfully we may only have to wait one more day to find out.
