The Montreal Canadiens have returned prospect Mikhail Sergachev to the Windsor Spitfires of the OHL today. The timing was right for the re-assignment as he was able to spend the month of October soaking of the professional game and learning what it takes to play in the NHL. He will be a better player for it and now Canadiens fans can look forward to following him in the OHL, at the World Junior Championships and the Memorial Cup as well.
"He has a good attitude. He's a good kid. It will help him to play another year in the junior ranks, for sure." - Bergevin on Sergachev

It was also announced that Shea Weber has won the Molson Cup for the month of October as well as named the NHL's third star of the week:

With four goals and six assists, Weber leads all Canadiens players with 10 points in eight games. He has three power play and game winning goals and has been able to play with a variety of defensive partners. He has changed the dynamic of the Canadiens on and off the ice and so far his start could not have gone any better.
The lines at practice remain unchanged from Saturday's 2-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs:
