Blue Jackets Isles Preview (isles)

The Islander home stand continues tonight as the Columbus Blue Jackets are in Brooklyn and puck drop at the Barclays Center is set for 7pm. While the next four games after tonight featured opponents such as the Penguins, Lightning, Capitals and Rangers, I can not stress enough how important these two points are tonight.

I feel the magnitude of these games. The fan base feels it, but the team has no pressure according to their head coach Jack Capuano. He has stated that you just want a chance this time of year and he doesn't care what other teams are doing. If their is no pressure then why has this team continued to start games so flat? I don't want to go on a tirade, I saved that for this edition of "That's SOOO Cappy" in our Podcast.

As for the game tonight, Thomas Greiss will be in goal and the lineup will remain the same. The Blue Jackets come into town losers of 7 of their past 9 games. Their should be no excuses tonight. The Isles need to come out flying and remove all doubt from this contest.

Speaking of excuses, in this episode of the Podcast Noel and I break down the latest rash of feeble excuses being handed out by this coaching staff in our latest edition of "That's SOOO Cappy."
