It is the day before Jaromir Jagr will be getting his long-deserved honor of getting his jersey retired by the Pittsburgh Penguins. Jagr is in town and making the rounds. He was in attendance at practice today and... he is on the ice!
This is not a drill. Jaromir Jagr is on the ice in full gear with the Penguins.
For the first time in 23 years Jagr is donning the Penguins black and gold on the ice in Pittsburgh. I knew the weekend was going to be special. I had no idea he was actually going to suit up and participate at practice. It is so cool. Emotions are running high.
