-Antti Niemi was the first goalie out on the ice this morning working with Stephane Waite, he'll be playing tonight while Carey Price will take on the Rangers a team against whom his numbers are pretty good. For instance, in 2016-2017 season, he faced them 3 times surrendering 7 goals for a GAA of 2.27 and a save percentage of .922. In that same season, he lost twice against the Islanders so this looks like a logical decision.
-There will be no other changes to the line-up, Paul Byron is still injured and did not make the trip which means that there are no healthy scratch forwards available to step in and replace the players who have not performed too well lately .
-The Habs nearly started a mini panic on Twitter last night hinting at a new jersey reveal for today. However, it turns out that it's only a digital jersey for EA Sports' NHL19 game:

-Shea Weber although injured has traveled with his teammates on the road since the start of the season. Today, he's on the ice with Karl Alzner, tonight's healthy scratch, keeping him company. I think we all look forward to seeing what Weber's return will mean for the surprising Canadiens.
