Friday night info (NHL picks)

Last night 5-2 +4.10 Units YTD 20-23 -5.99 Units

Back to one game tonight! But we have a full slate of games tomorrow. Finally a winning night after a few tough nights.

Three new angles that I have been tracking that might be something to look at both short and long term are as follows.

Scenario #1 – Teams that are playing each other in back to back games, in which the home team loses the first game, the record of the home team in the second game is 15-5! 3-1 last night!

Scenario #2 – Teams playing back to back road games on consecutive nights tend to go under the total in the 2nd game. So far that trend is 5-3 when teams play on the road back to back nights. 1-0 last night!

Scenario #3 - One last angle I am tracking that is slightly profitable and similar to Scenario #1, is when any team loses the first game of a back to back against the same team, regardless if it’s on the road or at home, those teams are 21-16 in that situation. 4-4 last night!

Quick stat updates - First period totals going over were 8-5 last night and are 49-64 on the season. Road teams were 3-10 last night and are 43-70 on the season. Home side the way to go even with the higher juice on the ML! Game totals going over the total were 5-8 last night and are 61-50-2 on the season, which is still a very profitable angle.

Gamenotes for tonight –

CLB/Chicago – Hawks sitting at home while CLB is playing their 3rd in 4 nights on the road. Lean to the under and homeside here. Not playing anything tonight.

Feel free to ask any questions in the blog and I always get back to everyone. I will have Twitter and Instagram going shortly. Good luck tonight!
