Another double J rumor! I think it's about time Jarom... Wait, that article references Jack Johnson not Jaromir Jagr. That isn't good.
Did you know Jack Johnson is friends with Sidney Crosby from their time at Shat... blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
Did you also know he stinks at hockey? He's 31 and if anything his past sample tells us it's that he was real bad and played alot. There have been 57 defensemen who have played 10,000 minutes since 2007-08 and Jack Johnson is one of them. He ranks 57th in relative corsi at -3.95% (raw 47.4% 55th overall). He is also dead last in his relative xGF% at -3.88% (raw 47.4% is 54th overal). He ranks 49th with a 5v5 points per 60 at 0.58. He can't drive play, he can't defend, and he gives you minimal offense. What's the draw? It must be that he will come cheap...

While I don't think he's going to get close to that it is worth noting the source. A man that doesn't carelessly say things. Let's not also forget that Jack Johnson claimed for bankruptcy because of his scum bag parents and that he would probably love to recover as much money as he can in his playing career.
Lastly, the Penguins already have a Jack Johnson they don't want to play
Anybody want a second Matt Hunwick for probably twice the price? Me neither. i don't want another Matt Hunwick at the veteran minimum either. Of all the double J rumors over the years this is the worst one.
