Defenceman Chris Tanev was dealt to the Dallas Stars on Wednesday afternoon in exchange for what is being reported as a second round draft pick, prospect Artem Grushnikov, and a conditional draft pick. The Devils got involved in the transaction, receiving a fourth round pick to retain 25% of Tanev's salary.
Grushnikov, 20, is a left-shot defenceman currently in his first AHL season with the Texas Stars.
The Flames receive the conditional third round pick if the Dallas Stars make the 2024 Stanley Cup Final.
