I had no time this morning, and I'll update later if I get a chance to at work, but I just wanted to give some love to the Florida Panthers for beating the Stars last nights and keeping the Coyotes playoff chances at about a slightly even proposition.
The Stars went 1-1 this weekend, keeping the hopes of the state of Arizona alive. The two teams are now even in games played (78) and the Stars hold a one point lead. In the event of a tie, it pains me to inform you that Dallas will prevail.
The two teams are off tonight but pick back up tomorrow, with Phoenix playing Columbus and Dallas playing Nashville. Dallas is back on again Wednesday also playing Columbus, which is their make-up game from the Rich Peverly incident and unfortunately for them, their second back to back of the week, making it, unless I am mistaken, a grueling 4 games in 5 nights with the playoffs on the line.
