Remember the only time the BuzzTron's projected standings change are when it gets a game's outcome incorrect in the nightly predictions. In other words in simplest forms if every game was predicted right for the rest of the year, you would see what the updated projected standings for the end of the year are.. but despite getting 65% of the games right that means 35% of the games are incorrect or might have the right winner, but the loser point plays into this as well and since the Buzztron does predict loser points....
So tonight we only have Western Conference games, but two of them are direct battles for the projections as to who is going to get the final wildcard. Currently LA is projected in the Final Wildcard with 91 points, while San Jose sites just out of the wildcard with 87 points...The Buzztron has LA winning tonight and San Jose Losing....It La loses in Reg they lose two points win the final projection and fall to 89 projected points. The Buzztron has San Jose losing tonight to Anaheim in regulation. If San Jose were to win tonight the Projected Point total for the Sharks would jump to 89.
So the projected standings tomorrow could see LA and SJ tied with 89 points in the final wildcards..
