Remember when I told you that I thought Boston's Shawn Thornton made a big mistake by squirting water in PK Subban's face in the dying moments of Game 5 in Boston on Saturday night? What a bad idea it was to disrespect that Canadiens and to give them a rallying cry heading into Game 6 in their barn. Thornton and the Bruins should have known better than to wake the sleeping bear. Pun intended.
On Monday night, pay back was a bitch as the Canadiens dominated the Bruins 4-0, forcing Game 7 on Wednesday night in Boston. In so doing, Max Pacioretty and Thomas Vanek scored their personal scoring slumps. Vanek now has 5 goals and 3 assists in 10 playoff games. He has scored two goals twice against the Bruins in their first six games of the Boston series.
Carey Price made 26 saves for his first shutout of the 2014 Stanley Cup Playoffs, while Vanek scored two goals and Pacioretty had a goal and an assist. Lars Eller also scored for Montreal, which equalized the second round series at 3-3.Price got by with a little help from his friends, like this helping hand from David Desharnais.

Game 7 will be played Wednesday night in Boston.
It will be the ninth time the Bruins and Canadiens have played in a best-of-7 series, and the fourth time in their past five series since 2004.
Montreal holds a 24-9 lead in 33 previous playoff series against Boston, including a 19-8 advantage in 27 best-of-7 series

New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist has won two straight games to force a deciding Game 7 vs. the slumping Sidney Crosby and the the Pittsburgh Penguins. On Monday night, Lundqvist learned that he is being fined for giving Crosby a Gatorade shower in Game 6.
Lundqvist will be boning out $5,000 for his antics, which occurred at the end of the second period. After Game 6, Hank had no idea what the reporter was talking about when he was asked out squirting Crosby. “I always squirt it when I go off the ice,… Lundqvist said. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.…
On Saturday, Bruins water boy Shawn Thornton forked over $2,820.52 for dousing the visor of Canadiens D P.K. Subban.
Wonder what the NHL will be fining Crosby for spearing Rangers grit guy Dominic Moore in the family jewels....
Crosby may not get fined, however, his juvenile stick work earned him a stern lecture by Pens owner Mario Lemieux in the loser's locker room at MSG after Game 6.
According to reports, Lemieux was none too happy with Crosby's role in the gong show that broke out after he stabbed Moore in the junk. Conduct unbecoming of a superstar, eh?
