Random Notes
- The Predators got some help last night as Vancouver dropped their fifth straight. Nashville now has a game in hand on Vancouver going into tomorrow night’s game against Minnesota. The Preds trail the Canucks by four points for the last Wild Card slot and trail Minnesota by eight points for the other Wild Card.
- The log jam in the battle for the last wild card slot is insane. Four teams are within four points of the 8 spot.
- Looks like both Matt Cullen and Viktor Stalberg may be back in the lineup for tomorrow night’s game in St. Paul.
- Great time at the Predators Foundation Casino Night last night. Some very interesting conversations!
- The Philadelphia Flyers’ first coach Keith Allen, passed away yesterday at the age of 90. Allen was the general manager of the team during the heady days of the Broad Street Bullies. Terry Crisp spoke very fondly of “Keith the Thief… last night at the Foundation Gala.
