Subban Ignites Habs' Game 3 Win (canadiens subban vanek)

Love him or not, PK Subban is one of the best players in the NHL. Subban is worth the price of admission.

The 24 year old Toronto native has the ability to take a game over, all by his lonesome. Case in point Game 3 against Boston. The Habs stole a game in Boston in Game 1 and lost a heart breaker in Game 2 on Saturday afternoon. On Tuesday night, Subban wasted little time leading his team out to a fast start. Subban to Vanek to Plekanec. Bam! Just the way that Mike Therrien diagrammed it on the dry erase board, eh?

Thanks, NBCSN

Subban’s silky mitts aren’t his only strong suit. How about his heavy body checks? This one was so lethal that Reilly Smith went flying, and Thomas Vanek was sprayed with the shrapnel from the explosive hit. Vanek would limp off to the Habs’ room for repairs and to be examined. He would later return to the game.

Upon being paroled from the pen, Subban took a beautiful pass that sent him in all alone on Tuukka Rask. 2-0 Canadiens.

Subban helped the Habs jump out to a 3-0 lead. There would be no third period collapse by the Habs in Game 3 as it was in Game 2. They would hold on to win Game 3 by a score of 4-2. Subban, Vanek, Plekanec, Price and the Habs could easily be ahead 3-0 in this second round series against Montreal right now.

Subban has accumulated 6 points in three playoff games against Boston in this series. He has 11 points total in the seven playoff games that he's played against Tampa and Boston. He has three goals and 8 assists.

Can the Bruins contain Subban?
