I am hearing from multiple sources that Patrick Sharp is definitely in play right now. Watch Montreal. Also, I have heard him linked to Winnipeg, Toronto and Carolina in the last week or so.
Also, just heard that the Hawks talks with Vancouver re: Ryan Kesler may be back on. Previously I was told the Hawks had backed out when Vancouver demanded Brandon Saad in any deal. That may have changed.
But don't be confused: Vancouver's price for Kesler will be high and could include, for example, 2012 first round pick Teuvo Teravainen.
I am hearing there is much going on beyond this as well.
As first (as far as I know) reported here a few days ago, the 2015 Winter Classic will include the Hawks playing the Capitals in DC, per Bob MacKenzie of TSN.
