Just arrived in Philadelphia where everyone is getting set for the Draft on Friday night. There continues to be talk that the Leafs have interest in Florida’s top overall pick, but it is still questionable whether Panthers GM Dale Tallon is truly shopping the pick.
TSN Insider Darren Dreger reported on TSN 1050’s Leafs Breakfast Thursday morning that Toronto is not likely to re-sign unrestricted free agents Troy Bodie, Jay McClement and Paul Ranger and could hold on to goaltender James Reimer if the club does not receive what they would consider fair value for the restricted free agent.

Toronto is interested in keeping forward Mason Raymond and according to Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston, GM Dave Nonis and Raymond’s representatives will meet over the weekend.

UFA center Dave Bolland has received inquiries from six interested teams according to agent Anton Thun and free agent winger Leo Komarov is apparently an equally desirable commodity. Toronto Sun reporter Rob Longley reports that five teams have called regarding Komarov.
Longley also indicated via Twitter that Toronto is trying very hard to move up from the #8 spot into the top three of the first round.
Will update later with more news…..
