This is a new feature that I plan to run after every game. It will have a summary on the game, including my thoughts on what happened.
It will also include what I like to call the Stat of the Night. This will be a stat that highlights a particular Blue Jackets player or the team as a whole. I'm really excited for this and hope you get enjoyment from it as well.
If you have any suggestions for this, something you want to me to add or change don't hesitate to leave a comment or tweet me.

Game Summary
This game was unfortunately not being broadcast so I was unable to watch it, however looking through the game sheet a couple things stood out.
From a purely statistical standpoint this looked like a typical Blue Jackets game from past seasons. Get out shot and have the goalie stand on his head to keep it close. The difference this time was it was not Sergei Bobrovsky but Joonas Korpisalo who was standing on his head. Korpisalo made 39 stops in the loss.
Defensively Ryan Murray led the way logging 26:02 minutes. It looks like the team wanted to get a long look at Murray. It would be fantastic if he could handle this type of load during the season.
Up front Wennberg was the TOI leader with 22:04. He had three shots, tied with Cam Atkinson for tops among the forwards.
The big thing I’m watching this pre-season is the usage of the young players. In this game it was pretty even between Oliver Bjorkstrand (14:14), Sonny Milano (13:56) and Kerby Rychel (13:41). As the pre-season goes on I expect one of these players to breakout and really separate himself from the rest.
On the other end of the spectrum we had Josh Anderson (8:26) and Jared Boll (9:46). Each player had a fight which cut into their ice time. At this point I think both players know what’s expected of them and it’s to bring that physical edge. If Anderson wants to make the team he has to show he can play that type of game better than Boll. I think Anderson is a better option than Boll for the fourth line as Anderson brings the physical play with more skill. I doubt he takes the job this year but long-term he will replace Boll.
