Buffalo Sabres head coach Bylsma reports that power forward Evander Kane is out for the remainder of the season.
Kane suffered a hand injury in the loss at Detroit on Monday night. Such an injury requires 3-4 weeks of healing time.
His critics can shut their pie holes because Kane had himself a very impressive first season in Buffalo.
Kane led the Sabres with 271 shots landed on enemy goalies.
He scored 3 game winners, 2 PPGs, and 1 shorty.
Kane will have to sit and watch the final five games of the season.
Kane scored 20 goals and added 15 assists in 65 games this season.
Kane is third in the NHL right now with 4.2 shots on goal per game.
His 21:02 minutes TOI rank him in the top four of forwards TOI in the NHL. Ryan O'Reilly remains number one with 21:52 TOI per game.

Bylsma would not rule out a return to avocation by Tyler Ennis, who has missed 40 games this season with an upper body ailment.

The Sabres currently have three skaters under the age of 25 with at least 20 goals: Jack Eichel (23),Sam Reinhart (22) and Evander Kane (21).
It is the first time Buffalo has had three players reach the 20-goal mark before their 25th birthdays since Jason Pominville, Derek Roy and Thomas Vanek each had 20 or more in 2006-07.
If Ryan O’Reilly scores two more goals this season, the Sabres will have four 20-goal scorers in their age 25 seasons* or younger for the first time since 1987-88 (Dave Andreychuk, Phil Housley, Christian Ruuttu and Ray Sheppard).

Seguin is 24. Bieber is 22.

" I have not met the Biebs," Seguin said.

Seguin is now walking without the aid of his crutches and is walking with a slight limp. He's h op in to be back in the lineup during the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
