The Islanders will partake in two split-squad games tonight against the Devils and Flyers. John Tavares will get a night off tonight as both games rosters will feature a majority of Ahl and junior bound players. The Islanders game against the Devils is at 7pm while the contest against the Flyers start at 6pm and be televised on Msg Plus. I would expect after this weekend’s games the Isles will start to trim their roster and assigned some players to their junior teams or the Sound Tigers training camp.
