What to watch:

1) Cory Schneider enters tonight's game playing some of the best hockey of his career, having allowed two goals or less in eight of his last nine starts. He's up to a .924SV% and is having an elite season despite what his record may indicate. You can bet he'll be looking to keep things going against his former team.

2) Jordin Tootoo continues to practice and play on the power play despite having no PP points all season long. He looks completely out of place on the man advantage, and I don't expect that to change no matter how many times they throw him out there.

3) Eric Gelinas played almost 19 minutes and had six shots on goal last game against the Sabres. In reality the Devils season is over, and it has been for a while, so they may as well play their kids and see what they have.

4) I'm a big Travis Zajac supporter and think his numbers have been hindered by consistently playing against top competition and not having the best players to work with, but at some point he needs to pick it up offensively. Steve Bernier and Michael Ryder have as many points (18) in less games.

5) The Canucks aren't the best offensive team, but they look like Tampa Bay compared to New Jersey. That Vancouver has three players with 40+ points, and the Devils don't have one player with 30+ sums it up nicely.
