The challenges keep on coming for the Blackhawks. The Flyers are fighting for a playoff spot and are a much improved club over recent years. Meanwhile the Hawks are struggling mightily. I could go through the power play and penalty kill, for example, but really, right now, the Hawks just aren't clicking all phases. Want proof? How about these lines:
Fleischmann. Toews Kane Panarin. Anisimov. Hossa Ladd. Teravainen. Shaw Mashinter. Desjardins. Weiss
Or something like that. The MixMaster is set to 11 as the Hawks try to figure some things out.
Hard to say what the defense pairs will be tonight. I have a feeling it may be Christian Ehrhoff's chance to make a case for a postseason role tonight.
