Just a quick hit today as my computer is in the midst of a slow and painful (for me) death.
Ducks 4 – Carolina 1
The Ducks won a game they should have last night in Carolina, 4-1. They did so with back up goalie Anton Khudobin who lived up to his “playing well every other game… season thus far. Carl Hagelin had his Anaheim coming out party, scoring a goal and adding a pair of assists. Ryan Getzlaf, Andrew Cogliano and Shawn Horcoff also had multi-point games.
Ducks @ Nashville
Tonight is the second half of back-to-back road games as the Ducks take on the Nashville Predators. The Preds have had a tough run of late, losing five of their last nine. Three of those losses however were in extra time.
Rickard Rakell spent time on the left side of Getzlaf and Corey Perry last night. He will continue in that role today as well. Josh Manson will miss his second straight game due to the flu, and is replaced again by Korbinian Holzer. Prized prospect Shea Theodore was recalled from San Diego today, he will serve as the team's seventh defenseman until Manson is ready to go. A rested Frederick Andersen returns to start in goal.
