Labour Day weekend is the proverbial calm before the storm in the NHL. Conversations that left off last week about the remaining free agents on the market... and there are some quality ones still left... for contracts or tryouts will pick up again in a big way. Also hearing a couple teams looking to move veteran defensemen for cap space could get REAL active this coming week before the start of NHL rookie and veteran camps.
In the meantime.... I was out with my kids yesterday and saw someone wearing a Team Slovenia hockey shirt. Pretty neat and it got me to thinking. What was the most unusual or unexpected hockey jersey you have ever seen or where was the most unexpected locale you've visited where you saw someone sporting the logo of your favorite NHL team?
