The Calgary Flames will take to the ice tonight against the Winnipeg Jets, and will push to extend their current winning streak of 6-4-0 over their past ten games played.

The Winnipeg Jets have struggled of late as they’ve dropped their last three games in a row. But don’t count them as a walk in the park tonight as they have managed points in all other games played outside of their current losing streak.

During their most recent game against the Edmonton Oilers, the Flames fought back from a two point deficit for the big win. It appeared as though the Oilers would prevail after the first two periods, but as they’ve done it all year, Calgary battled through and walked away with the two points, pushing Edmonton even further into the basement.

''We've done it a lot this year,'' said Bouma "We definitely have the belief in here going into the third period, whether we're down by three or down by two, that we can come back in the game.''

This may actually begin to be a problem for Calgary if they don’t address their poor starts. The Flames seemingly find ways to come back and win games in which they were trailing, but their success in the 3rd period could very well dry out and cause them to being to drop games which they previously found ways to win.

If the Jets are going to offer the Flames a challenge tonight, they will need to stay out of the box as they’ve been struggling on the PK of late.

"We've lost three in a row so you have to deal with that," said coach Paul Maurice "We're slow on our (penalty) kill right now and that's a confidence thing."

For the Flames, Goaltending and specialty teams will their keys to success as they look to move a few points closer to a playoff position.

That’s it for today folks, thanks for reading!
