Braden Holtby has won the Vezina Trophy.
A nervous Holtby took the stage on Wednesday night in Las Vegas and brought home the Capitals third Vezina Trophy, joining Jim Carey and Olaf Kolzig.
Holtby recorded a 48-9-7 record, tying the great Martin Brodeur with the most wins in a season by an NHL goaltender.
Holtby also registered 2.20 goals against average and a .922 save percentage.
With 140 total votes and 26 first place votes, Holtby beat out Ben Bishop and Jonathan Quick.
The 26 year old Holtby added 3 shutouts in 66 games, including a stretch of 22-0-2.
