The Blues were definitely shopping around a bit, and I believe Hitchcock had some pretty intriguing options as well, but the two sides have agreed to stay together for one more year. I think this is a good move by the Blues, who have been a dominant team, in the regular season, under Hitchcock.
This also may tell us that the Bruins are indeed sticking with Claude Julien... I am expecting a Sabres announcement soon regarding Bylsma. The Devils are also EXTREMELY interested in Bylsma.
