The Avalanche released their training camp roster Wednesday. Sixty-four players are listed: 35 forwards, 23 defensemen and six goalies.
Players will report Thursday morning at the Pepsi Center for physicals and testing, and they'll be on the ice Friday and Saturday at Family Sports Center in Centennial, CO. Three groups will work out Friday starting at 8 a.m. MT. There will be two groups Saturday, also starting at 8.
The training camp sessions are free and open to the public.
The Avalanche will play their annual Burgundy and White Game on Sunday at Magness Arena on the University of Denver campus. Faceoff is 1 p.m. They open a six-game preseason schedule Tuesday at 7 p.m. against Anaheim at the Pepsi Center.
