Yandle Buyout:Where Could He Go. Weber, Bishop, Suter, Eichel, Thur's Buzz (NHL)

Start here today as you can really sense the rumors are accelerating into what feels like a crazy weekend (starting tomorrow on Friday).

On Yandle...

The Panthers are going to buyout Keith Yandle, opening up some room to sign their current RFAs and keep the forward progress going after the teams most successful season in a long time...Yandle can very much help a team’s power play, but the places he would like to play is very limited. His first choice is definitely Boston, and since money may not be an issue after the buyout, I would keep an eye out there... Yandle also has connections to Arizona of course (Shane Doan and Yandle are very close and his family lived there.). Edmonton and NJ are also expected to contact Yandle...I have heard the Penguins may as well.

On Shea Weber..

The Canadiens will NOT be putting Weber on the protected list, after finding out that Weber’s injuries could cause him to possibly miss the entire 2021-22 NHL season. The biggest ramification of this will be that we can exopect the Habs to be aggressive in their search for a top pairing D-man.

Ben Bishop waives NMC.. Often inquired, but still very much a good option, Ben Bishop has allowed the Stars to not protect him after waiving his NMC. Could this be one of Seattle’s options?

On Hotlby...‘ Hearing the Devils have serious interest in trading for Holtby, but also kind of expect Seattle to take this first swing at the keeper...

On Suter... There is a strong feeling that Suter could be headed to Philly. OI have had three other teams mention it to me today...

On Eichel... Almost every team has made a call on Buffalo, but they are all saying that the asking price is “crazy… with one GM adding “about twice too high in my opinion.…

More to come...including continued updates on the Rumor Chart..
