It is becoming apparent that the Stars don't want to pay Seguin more than they are spending on Jamie Benn....
But today with Wheeler signing for around that same number everything may have shifted...Even though the Wheeler deal is only 5 years, it is important to note Blake Wheeler is 32...Seguin is only 26....And while Wheeler had a career year last season, he is not the powerhouse that Seguin is.....The only other thing the two have in common is both were, of course, once Boston Bruins....
Seguin is NOT looking to Wheeler as a comparable....before today... Seguin, and his representation, have always been looking to John Tavares as comparable...and they are very comparable...
Of course money in Dallas goes further than money in a place like Toronto, but that only accounts for maybe 1 million in difference....Not 3....
So where does this go from here?
