We had a nice perfect night after two days off of capping. Home teams and favs were 8-3 last night with games going over the total at a 6-4-1 clip. Only 4 games tonight. Analysis below. There are still no starting goaltenders announced for tonight. I will update system plays later tonight, so for now they aren't included in the blog.
NJ/TOR - The Leafs were rested last night while Devils won an emotional game over the NYR 7-4. Toronto has beat NJ in both head-to-head games this season. TOR needs this win and I look for this rested team to unload on the Devils like they have both times this year. Lean to the over too as both games head to head went over the total easy.
PITT/BUFF - The Sabres were rested last night while Pitt beat CLB 5-1 and are off a 3 game Western Canada road trip in which they went 2-1. BUFF has won 4 of their past 5 games and is playing some great hockey. They have split the first two games of the season head to head. The Pens are at NYR on Friday, be careful of this look ahead spot.
VAN/COL - The Avs have won 4 in a row and the Canucks have lost 5 of their last 6 games. The Avs have won both games head to head this season. VAN is starting a tough 4 game roadie tonight. Too high a price for COL. Pass for me.
CHI/ANA - Both teams won't make the playoffs and have traded away key pieces to their respective lineups. ANA has lost 7 in a row while the Hawks have lost 6 of their last 8 games. The Hawks won the first 2 games head to head this season in Chicago. Pass for me.
