When you look at this team on Cap Central, you can see clearly how George McPhee wasn't exactly expecting to be in this position....
In just a few months Neil and Perron will be completely free as UFA and RFA will be Karlsson, Reaves, Nosek, Miller, Theodore and more...
And that is just THIS Summer...
Marc Andre Fleury's contract ends NEXT summer, but as of July 1 the Knights will be able to negotiate and extension....the same can be said for Nate Schmidt and Bellemare....Both total UFAs come July 1 2019....
So what is McPhee going to do?
Do you pay them all and just keep this train going?
Or do you accept that they all had career years and they will get monster offers on the free agent market from all over the NHL?
This is a great problem to have, but it will be a problem....
