Dean Evason hinted when asked if Matt Boldy and or Marco Rossi would be called up from Iowa with the Wild's roster being hit hard with injuries and now Jordan Greenway has hit the Covid-19 protocol list.
The Wild's two best prospects have been clicking in Iowa and with the Wild in a five game funk now seems like the perfect time to give the pair of highly touted forwards their chance. If they do make their debits Thursday in Boston it will be on the National broadcast and put quite the spotlight on the Wild once again.
For Boldy it could have some extra special meaning being that he grew up in Milford Massachusetts and played his college hockey at Boston College. He will for sure have many friends and family in attendance.
Rossi does not have the local ties of course being Austria, but his story is one of determination and hard work after missing basically all of last season due to complications from his bout with COVID-19.

UPDATE: Boldy and Rossi have officially been recalled and inserted right into the lineup.
