At the risk of sounding too definitive, I have been chasing a very big rumor all morning regarding the NY Islanders. Sources very rarely align like this, so when they do I feel I need to at least mention it. It sounds like the Islanders are close to getting both help on the defensive end and at forward....
The big question: how much will they have to give up to make this happen, especially given the special dynamic and chemistry which exists right now on the island?
I will keep digging, to hopefully be able to give you more precise information regarding who might be going and who might be coming?
