SAN JOSE -- The big news from this morning's skate at SAP Center was that Marc-Andre Fleury will be joining the road trip tomorrow in Colorado.
Gallant on Fleury: "Everything is good. He had a maintenance day yesterday. He's going to meet us in Colorado tomorrow." #VegasBorn

The big giveaway will be whether or not Oscar Dansk is sent back to Chicago tomorrow.
Malcolm Subban will make his first start since February 2nd tonight against San Jose, otherwise, there will be no line-up changes from Tuesday's victory over Vancouver, according to Gerard Gallant.

The last time that Malcolm Subban was in San Jose, this is where he sat:
Here's another view:
Not enough room on the visitors' bench in San Jose for the back-up goaltender, so here is where (and how) Mike Condon is watching the Senators-Sharks game tonight... pic.twitter.com/cq6k2xBVkn

(Fleury's interview was conducted before he left the game early on Tuesday.)
HockeyBuzz: What's the weirdest place you've sat as a backup?
Malcolm Subban: I think Chicago. You have to sit in the room. (laughs) But if you ever get hungry or need a drink, it's right there.
Marc-Andre Fleury: Pittsburgh, the first arena, Mellon Arena. We were like in a corner and the guys were on the other side of the ice. You don't talk to anybody, you don't see anybody.
Nassau was like that too. There, they had no seats, only chairs, and the stands behind you. People are right there talking to you.
HB: So Chicago was strangest, Malcolm? Because San Jose just looked odd.
MS: At least San Jose, you're somewhat near the action. Sitting in the room is kind of...In San Jose, you're near the [player and zamboni] runway.
HB: I didn't get why the TV in San Jose was so small.
MS: That was weird. But Chicago, it's the same thing.
HB: But at least you can eat in Chicago and San Jose, right?
MAF: Every time you don't play, you get hungry. Because you don't have dinner, right? You have snack right before you go to the rink.
You get hungry. You just sit there and get a PowerBar or something. (laughs)
Is that Malcolm Subban 😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/uIli0P7JKO

MS: Yeah. One fan, the first game there, was talking my ear off.
HB: So you got heckled?
MS: No, he wasn't chirping at me about hockey. He was talking about real estate or something. I'm trying to watch the game, I'm not going to listen about real estate.
HB: He was trying to get you to buy real estate?
MS: Yeah.
HB: Really? He was trying to sell you real estate in the middle of the game?
MS: Yeah.
HB: So that's probably your oddest fan interaction as a backup?
MS: Yeah, that's definitely the weirdest one.
HB: How about you, Marc? Do you like interacting with fans when you're backing up?
MAF: That's the thing. I don't want to be caught on TV just chatting with the guy besides me, sharing popcorn, you know? You have to keep it somewhat professional. (laughs)
HB: Turk, as a player or coach, did you ever pay any mind to where the back-up goalie sat? I don't know, did you guys ever feel bad, bring the guy some food or just go over and chat with him so he's not lonely?
Gerard Gallant: Back in the old days, it was probably more difficult. Fans could get down to you and probably would try to fight you. (laughs)
[But I] never thought about it. Never. Never crossed my mind. (laughs)

When Subban went down with a hand injury last month, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that he had erased both his Twitter and Instagram accounts. This sparked rumors that he had been traded, was suspended, you name it. Obviously, the former @SubbZero30 was neither traded nor suspended. I asked him to set the record straight about his disappearance from social media.
HockeyBuzz: Why did you erase your social media?
Malcolm Subban: It's just a distraction, I guess. That was about it. I stopped using it a lot anyway. But it was too much of a distraction; I wanted to focus more. Get away from it.
HB: I'm not sure if you're aware, but when you erased your social media, that's about when you went down with your injury. So people thought you had been traded or something.
MS: It was actually a week or two before that [when I erased my social media accounts]. But I heard about that though.
HB: The timing though, it freaked out your fans.
MS: I don't think anybody noticed until I got hurt. People went to look for me and noticed I was gone.
