A massive card with 13 games on tap tonight!! We have four rematches from last night plus Hawks/TB and Wild/Avs rematches from Thursday night. Can the Leafs snap their three game losing streak? Toronto has four nights off coming up, but Calgary has been playing some great hockey since Daryl Sutter took over! Seven points separate the top 6 teams in the North Division. There is no division that can say that, this Canadian Division is so tight, plus with Ottawa really elevating their play these last few weeks, there are no easy games! Gotta love the playoff push now in the second half of the season.
**I am not playing road teams in Scenario #4 tonight**
**I have started to research teams that come off at least a 5 game road trip and how they fare in their first game back home.** Its 5-3 to date.
Scenario #1 – Teams that are rested, either sitting at home or on the road while their opponent plays the night before. 9-3 in 10 days of tracking it! As well, the under is a nice 7-4-1 in these spots!
Scenario #2 – , that are playing each other in back to back games, in which the home team loses the first game, the record of the home team in the second game is 53-32. Canes, Panthers, Islanders, Habs, Leafs and Sharks fit the system tonight.
Scenario #3 – Teams playing back to back road games on consecutive nights tend to go under the total in the 2nd game. So far that trend is 20-19-1 when teams play on the road back to back nights. Canucks/Habs, NYR/Caps, Flames/Leafs and Blues/Sharks fit the system tonight.
Scenario #4 - One last angle I am tracking that is slightly profitable and similar to Scenario #1, is when any team loses the first game of a back to back against the same team, regardless if it’s on the road or at home, those teams are 76-59 in that situation. Pens, Wild, Hawks, Stars, Yotes and NYR fit the system tonight.
Quick stat updates - First period totals going over were 2-3 last night and are 212-248 on the season. Road teams were 4-1 last night and are 218-235 on the season. Game totals going over the total were 2-3 last night and are 221-218-13 on the season.

Flames/Leafs – Leafs have won 3 of 5, while 3 of 5 have gone under the total. Toronto has 4 nights off after this game!
Yotes/Ducks – AZ has won 3 of 5 head to head, but Ducks playing a little better the last couple of games.
Blues/Sharks – First 7 games, STL win, then SJ win, alternating! If we follow that, SJ should win tonight.
Jets/Oilers – Edmonton has won 3 of 5 head to head this season.
