The picks fell in favor for the Wild as Bill Guerin was able to select center, Marco Rossi with the 9th pick in the draft.
Rossi is a well rounded player who led the CHL in scoring this past season and can play with a bit of a mean streak as well. He has the ability to make the jump to the next level as early as this coming season. I am sure that was a huge factor in Guerin's decision process as well.
The tide is changing in the State of Hockey and their newest addition only adds to the excitement.
