Johnsson Clears Waivers
According to Amanda Stein's twitter account, Andreas Johnsson has cleared waivers. Last season, Johnsson scored 13 goals and 22 assists for a total of 35 points. With his salary being $2.5M dollars but cap hit being $3.4M this year, it is not surprising he was not picked up by any team. The Devils will get some cap relief but not as much if he was claimed.
