So I was reading your comments in the last blog and I must say It amazes me....
Setting aside that these are opinions, and there is no RIGHT or WRONG answer, but seriously...McDavid is a generational talent, superstar....top 5...OK top 3...Probably...but people just need to remember what Sidney Crosby has proven and how while he may not be putting up the stats like he once did...he probably is enjoying those Stanley Cups, Gold Medals, and MVP trophies a little more...
McDavid may get there...but people are constantly acting like he is just the anointed best player in the world. ...Edmonton fans should know better...They really should. This city once had a player who was the greatest player... He was scoring 200+ points and winning Stanley Cups...Wayne was the best and until Mario came along he was the best there ever was...Not just the best player alive.
And maybe Connor McDavid turns into all that Wayne was...and when he does I will be first to say so...
But right now this kid who grew up a FLYERS fan holds the opinion that a Penguin....Sidney Crosby, is the best player in the world...right now...And Matthews and McDavid are pretty much 2A and 2B...
But I am just an American with a website looking for clicks, right?
