Quick Nylander Update... I am told a deal with the Kings could be getting a bit closer, but as I reported quite some time ago there is only one player that gets this done for the Leafs right now and that would be...Kale Clague. The Kings so far are unwilling to take that Leap...
The Leafs are playing a game of chicken here right now. I am told the Kings are being told the Leafs can just sign Nylander to a deal...at least the Leafs are coming off confident that they know what it would take to get it done...and I am guessing that means a MUCH shorter deal for Nylander than Toronto has been pushing for...
It is really starting to feel like Nylander's saga ends with either a trade to LA or a shorter contract seeing him in Toronto...for now.
I have heard some rumblings of Nylander for Parayko...but I really don't put too much stock in it right now.
