Now that the top 100 is out I am getting a ton of private messages and emails asking about certain players and who should or shouldn't be on the list...Of course a list like this is almost made for controversy, and there are no right or wrong answers...and anyone on this list is already a fantastic player to be sure...
But I am going to give you my opinion on some mistakes (I feel there are a few GLARING mistakes) and here is the first one:
The best defenseman in the NHL is hands down Shea Weber. It was true as a Predator and now in Montreal he has just solidified that spot even more...Duncan Keith is a fantastic player, don't get me wrong, but in his own zone he is prone to give-aways and there have been many NHL players I have spoken to over the years that tell me if you can get him to go back for pucks and turn his back you can rush him and he will wrap the puck blindly around the boards... That doesn't happen with Mr. Weber.
If you are going to put a current d-man on this list, Shea Weber is your choice...
But I will let you decide..
