Hope you're buckled in.
Darren Dreger of TSN confirmed today that Nazem Kadri is generating interest from multiple NHL teams.
Teams are calling the Flames with interest in Nazem Kadri, however Calgary isn’t in a full tear down. They’re trying to reset their roster and Kadri is a big part of that. He also has a No Move and likes Calgary.

Kadri holds all the cards given the NMC in his contract. Following a 29 goal, 75 point season in 2023-2024, where Kadri made up one third of Calgary's most dominant line in Zary-Kadri-Pospisil, it's debatable whether moving out the 33 year old center would actually be beneficial to a rebuild.
What do you think? Should the Flames hold on to his contract that carries a $7,000,000 cap hit for the next five seasons? At what point do we see diminishing returns on dealing out veterans who want to win?
More to come. We're just getting started.

The Flames have what it takes to beat that offer. The scouting dept may not love losing the picks —but it would be wild to know how low #28 and #41 could get you. https://t.co/YzgyeYmdCC
