We had another winning night as weekends treat us well! Home teams and favs went 7-1 last night. Only 5 games on the card tonight. Analysis below. Be sure to check the comment section throughout the day for starting goalies, I will always update them in that section.
CAR/WSH - The Caps are playing much better hockey these days going 7-3 over their last 10 games and have gone over the total in 9 of their last 10 games. CAR is 5-5 in their last 10 games and are coming off a big win at STL. The Canes are at rival TB tomorrow night though. The Caps are off until Sunday after this one, I see them sinking everything into the game. The Caps have won all 3 games this season, head to head! Lean to WSH +115 in a great spot at home as a dog.
VAN/STL - This will be the Canucks 4th game in 6 nights on the road and have wins over COL and DAL, with an OT to Minny. They have looked really good while STL is playing some awful hockey going 3-9 in their last 12 games. This will be a home and home between these 2 teams, with STL at VAN on Wednesday night. STL won the only meeting this year 3-1. Two teams going in different directions but this is a tough road spot for the Canucks. Small lean to VAN +115 as STL shouldn't be favoured over many teams these days.
BUFF/CHI - The Sabres played last night in NY, losing 5-4 OT while the Hawks recovered from their quick 3 game road trip in which they played very well. This will be their first meeting this season, lean to CHI -161 in a nice spot. Hawks are home for one game then a quick 2 game roadie at FL and TB.
AZ/EDM - The Oilers got beat bad by CAL Saturday night but sat rested last night while the Yotes playing in WIN. AZ has lost 5 in a row and they lost both games at home to EDM earlier this season 5-1 and 5-3. Lean to EDM PL -145.
SEA/LA - Back to back in LA for these 2 teams after LA dominated the first game and I expect much of the same again tonight. The Kings have rotated W then L for the last 7 games too. LA finished the season with 9 of 14 on the road, they need these two points tonight. Lean to LA PL +105.
