Jack McBain to Arizona for a 2022 second round pick which belonged to Vancouver originally.
McBain had no intention of signing with the Wild as Arizona offers him a faster track to the NHL after he completed his College career. The former third round pick in 2018 had a breakout season this year scoring 19 goals and 14 assists in 24 games with Boston College.
Solid return for a player who was not going to sign his ELC with the Wild and more leverage to bolster the system for director of amateur scouting, Judd Brackett.
